Omega what?

Eat fish they say.  Good Omega 3 fatty acids can be found there.  Jargon sounds suspicious.  Really, the omega n-3 and n-6 found in foods like fish all assist the body’s inflamation response at the time of truama or infection.  That’s good!!!!  The  Omega 3 fatty acids are precursors to making compounds active that are needed in the body.  Digestion, reproduction, and heart / blood vessel function also get a big high five from Omega 3 fatty acids.  It’s one big party for the body.  Eat some Omega 3 fatty acids today…

Concern for the clean water supply and the chemicals found in fish today is a true issue.  Weighing the benefits against the risk is important for all foods.
